Freeway Crash in Oregon: Jose AGUILAR-GOMEZ, Illegal Mexican from CA ( mexico) with NO Drivers License causes freeway accident with crazy Mexican Driving( one American woman hospitalized

once again- the cost of the invasion and open borders. You cannot let a third world population invade without huge costs borne by the legal population. In this case, one middle-aged American woman is hospitalized, is it just me or has anyone noticed how many Mexicans are Driving without licenses? This  is a Typical Mexican Response to American Laws.

 

Three people were injured, one seriously, following a two-vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon westbound on Interstate 84 in The Dalles.

According to Oregon State Police (OSP) Senior Trooper Michael Holloran, on July 1, 2009 at approximately 1:30 p.m. a 1997 Saturn four-door with five occupants from Corning, California was westbound on Interstate 84 at exit 85. The Saturn’s driver, JOSE AGUILAR-GOMEZ, age 27, appeared to be taking the freeway off ramp when he apparently changed his mind and merged back to the left across two lanes into the left westbound lane forcing a witness toward the center median and concrete barrier.

The witness honked their horn to warn AGUILAR-GOMEZ, who over-corrected and lost control. The Saturn struck the center median and momentarily came to a stop broadside in the left westbound lane where it was struck in the driver’s side by a 2005 Toyota Sequoia towing a boat.

AGUILAR-GOMEZ and his left rear passenger, DANIEL AGUILAR-MENDEZ, age 27, were transported to Mid-Columbia Medical Center for treatment. AGUILAR-MENDEZ was taken by LifeFlight to an unknown Portland-area hospital for further treatment of non-life threatening serious injuries. AGUILAR-GOMEZ was treated and released. The other three occupants did not require hospital treatment.

The Toyota’s driver, MARTHA HALLORAN, age 50, from Rainier, was transported to Mid-Columbia Medical Center where she was also treated and released for minor injuries.

All involved vehicle occupants were using safety restraints.

Senior Trooper Holloran cited AGUILAR-GOMEZ for No Valid Operator’s License and Unsafe Lane Change.

OSP troopers from The Dalles Area Command were assisted at the scene by ODOT and Mid-Columbia Fire & Rescue.

Office of Multicultural Health Services gets new leader, new focus, expanded mission

This month the Oregon Department of Human Services took an important step to reduce long-time disparities in health care, human services and employment by expanding the scope of the Office of Multicultural Health and bringing new leadership and focus to the mission.

Tricia Tillman, formerly of Multnomah County, has joined DHS as the administrator of the Office Multicultural Health. Under Tillman the office will provide statewide leadership and advocacy and work to improve the health status and access to health and human services of underrepresented populations in Oregon. The office will also be responsible for affirmative action, diversity intiatives and cultural competency in DHS.

“We are committed to helping people break down the barriers that keep too many people from getting equal health care, equal access, and equal employment in Oregon,” said Dr. Bruce Goldberg, director of the Department of Human Services.

Additionally, the office of Multicultural Health will be elevated into the office of the Director of DHS and Tillman will report directly to Dr. Goldberg.

Tillman comes to DHS from the Multnomah County Health Department in Portland. She managed the county’s Health Equity Initiative and the African American Sexual Health Equity Program. She also co-chaired the department’s Diversity and Quality Team.

She has spent her career working to promote a highly qualified, diverse workforce, to engage community in public health, and to identify and reduce health disparities.

“I am excited about having the opportunity to focus on multicultural issues statewide,” said Tillman. “And I’m really passionate about addressing health disparities and how to build a pipeline to get more diverse folks coming into public service fields.”

Tillman has worked in various capacities in maternal, child and community health over the past 16 years, coordinating efforts to improve the health of disadvantaged populations in Arizona, Massachusetts and Oregon. Focusing on women, children and communities of color, she uses strategies that include community organizing, participatory research, popular education and political advocacy.

She earned a prestigious Martin Luther King Fellowship from Boston University as well as a public health fellowship through the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation. She received her master’s degree in public health from Boston University and her bachelor’s degree in political science from Catholic University of America in Washington, DC.

Tillman began her new position on May 18.

Gresham Police are searching for a suspect in a shooting that occurred Friday May 22, 2009 at 9:06pm at the Townfair Apartment Complex in the 1100 block of NW Wallula that left one woman injured.

Residents of the apartment complex called Police after hearing and seeing a male shoot a female inside the clubhouse of the apartments. When Police arrived, they found 21 year-old Maria Barajas-Damian of Gresham, who had been shot four times, outside the clubhouse. Her 1 year old child was found nearby her. Barajas was able to tell Police that the suspect was her estranged boyfriend, 37 year-old Marcelino Diaz-Rivera of Portland, who is also the father of her child. Witnesses had seen Diaz leave the scene in a black Ford truck just after the shooting. Barajas was taken by ambulance to an area hospital for treatment of her injuries.

Initial investigation revealed that Diaz was bringing back their child after a visitation, and they got into some sort of verbal disagreement that ended with Diaz shooting Barajas while their child was in the room with them.

Police located the black Ford truck during their investigation. There are no other vehicles of interest at this time. The child of the victim and suspect has been placed with family. The suspect, Diaz, has family in Hermiston, OR and California and may be headed out of the Portland Metro area. Diaz has a warrant issued for his arrest as a result of this incident. If anyone knows the location of Diaz, they are asked to call 911 or Gresham Police

During subsequent investigation and interviews in this case, it was determined that one of the suspects that was arrested gave a false name to officers.

Monica Guarjardo, 29-years old, was a passenger in the rear of the stolen vehicle and gave the name of Christina Arismendez when she was arrested. Guarjardo’s true identity was not discovered until later in the day.

As a result, Monica Guarjardo is being charged with Giving False Information To A Police Officer and was also arrested on warrants for Possession of a Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine and Giving False Information. Christina Arismendez WAS NOT arrested in this case.

Four suspects were arrested after a pursuit of a stolen vehicle that ended with the vehicle crashing into a business and two suspects fleeing on foot.

The incident began at approximately 10:10 am on April 28th when Salem Police Officer Mitch Mason spotted a vehicle that had been reported stolen to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office. Officer Mason noticed the vehicle stopped at a traffic light on Kuebler Blvd and Battle Creek Rd SE and ran an inquiry on the license plate. By the time Officer Mason received the information that the vehicle was stolen, it had proceeded from that intersection and onto Interstate 5. Officer Mason could not tell which direction the vehicle had gone on the freeway, so he notified other Salem Police units to watch for the vehicle.

Approximately four minutes later Salem Police Officer Marc Leeder spotted the vehicle going northbound on Lancaster Dr NE approaching Sunnyview Rd NE. When Officer Leeder attempted to turn around to get behind the vehicle, it fled northbound and turned westbound onto Sunnyview Rd NE. Officer Judy Rhine was eastbound on Sunnyview Rd at the time approaching Lancaster Dr and turned around to continue the pursuit of the stolen vehicle. The stolen vehicle proceeded westbound on Sunnyview Rd, turning north onto Hawthorne Ave NE, then eastbound onto Silverton Rd NE. As the vehicle approached Lancaster Dr on Silverton Rd, it went into the opposing lane of traffic then turned north on Lancaster Dr.

The stolen vehicle continued northbound on Lancaster Dr at moderate speeds then turned westbound onto Ward Dr NE. Officer Rhine performed a Pursuit Intervention Technique (PIT) on the vehicle on Ward Dr, but the vehicle was able to recover and continue westbound until it crashed into a building at Highway Trailer Sales, 3250 Ward Dr NE.

After crashing into the business, the driver, 20-year old Jose A Quezada, fled on foot from the vehicle. Officers and deputies gave chase on foot and the suspect was apprehended. Quezada was handcuffed and was being escorted back to the patrol vehicles when he was able to break away and run a short distance before he was apprehended again.

The front passenger in the vehicle also fled on foot after the vehicle crashed, resulting in officers cordoning off the area and conducting a canine search for the suspect. The Oregon State Police and Marion County Sheriff’s Office assisted throughout this process. After nearly two hours, this second suspect, identified as 29-year old Thomas W Cade, was spotted by Cpl Mark Croll. Cpl Croll gave the suspect commands, but the suspect refused to comply and again fled on foot. He was caught by officers a short distance away and taken into custody.

Found on the front passenger seat of the stolen vehicle was a .45 caliber semi-automatic handgun that was stolen from Newberg. There were also two females in the back seat of the vehicle at the time. They were identified as 19-year old Esmeralda Herrera of Salem and 23-year old Christina Arismendez of Salem. Both of these females remained at the scene after the vehicle crashed and were charged with Unauthorized Use of Motor Vehicle. Hererra was also cited for having an Open Container of Alcoholic in a Vehicle.

Jose Quezada was transported to the Marion County Jail and charged with Unauthorized Use Of A Motor Vehicle, Attempting to Elude, Escape, Theft by Receiving, Reckless Driving, Driving While Suspended and a warrant for Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle.

Cade was charged with Unauthorized Use Of A Motor Vehicle, Interfering With A Police Officer and Parole Violation.

“It just doesn’t seem rational,” is how I was quoted in today’s New York Times front page story about Pres. Obama supposedly being committed to moving a mass amnesty forward this year. So, for about the next 12 hours, I answered phone calls from print reporters and did radio shows across the country. 

Despite the Times’ very difficult financial position and the hatred it evokes from a sizable part of the public, you can quickly understand its continuing power over the nation’s media when you are quoted in one of its controversial stories.

Every time it happens to me, my phone literally is ringing all day long from reporters, talk hosts, bloggers, researchers, foreign press, Hispanic press.

The New York Times still sets a lot of the agenda of the whole nation’s news media.

What got things going today was Julia Preston’s story that quoted a “senior administration official” under the headline:

Obama to Push Immigration Bill as One Priority

By the end of the day, nearly every open-borders group in America had sent out mass emails declaring victory and calling on their members to call the White House to tell them not to listen to the protests from groups like NumbersUSA.

Part of their excitement, no doubt, was that one of their own was the “senior administration official” delivering the pro-amnesty news.   Cecilia Muñoz, deputy assistant to the president and director of intergovernmental affairs in the White House, was until recently a vice president of the National Council of La Raza

Reporter Preston clearly understood that the chief problem with Munoz’s pro-amnesty comments was how they played against the nation’s terrible unemployment problem. She wrote this:

Opponents of legalization legislation were incredulous at the idea that Mr. Obama would take on immigration when economic pain for Americans is so widespread.

“It just doesn’t seem rational that any political leader would say, let’s give millions of foreign workers permanent access to U.S. jobs when we have millions of Americans looking for jobs,” said Roy Beck, executive director of NumbersUSA, a group that favors reduced immigration. Mr. Beck predicted that Mr. Obama would face “an explosion” if he proceeded this year.
“It’s going to be, ‘You’re letting them keep that job, when I could have that job,’ ” he said. 

In all my interviews today, I talked about two numbers that illustrate starkly the irrationality — and callousness — of any move toward an amnesty this year.

• 6 million — That is the estimate of illegal aliens who are holding down non-agricultural jobs in the U.S. Most of them are working in manufacturing, service and construction jobs that require no more than a high school education.
• Nearly 7 million — That is the number of Americans with no more than a high school education who are looking for jobs (primarily in manufacturing, service and construction) but can’t find one.

Cecilia Munoz is suggesting that her boss, Pres. Obama, thinks it is a good idea to tell those 7 million unemployed Americans that the jobs they want should continue to be occupied (permanently) by 6 million illegal foreign workers!

I’m hoping that is not Mr. Obama’s idea at all but what we were seeing was the result of Munoz drawing the short trial balloon and being the one who had to publicly float it to see if the American public is distracted enough not to notice what a crazy idea that would be.

But Cecilia wasn’t the only one trying to sell nonsense.  Reporter Preston quotes other Administration officials as saying that . . .

. . . Mr. Obama’s plan would not add new workers to the American work force, but that it would recognize millions of illegal immigrants who have already been working here.

That is another trial balloon to see if the public believes that illegal immigration is a victimless crime. Every manufacturing, service and construction job an illegal alien is allowed to keep tends to mean that an American stays unemployed.  Now that sounds like a good campaign theme for congressional re-elections.

Of course, maybe I was floating a trial balloon myself in talking about “an explosion” if Pres. Obama pushes an amnesty this year.  I am depending on Americans to stand up for themselves and speak up.  We certainly will give everybody a chance to do so through our Action Buffet system.  If you haven’t told the White House what you think of Cecilia Munoz’s comments this week, please do so now.

Cecilia says Mr. Obama will speak to the nation about his amnesty plans in May and then will bring “immigration groups” and other experts together during the summer to hammer out a plan.

But the Times story details no promise of bringing the amnesty to a vote this year.

I think the White House is waiting to judge the public’s reactions to the amnesty efforts before committing itself. If Americans sit on their hands every time a White House Official says something irrational about immigration, then the irrational may start to seem rational.

Looks like Mr. Obama may be depending on you to help him stand up to the irrational open-borders groups.
