On October 28, 2009 at approximately 2:22 am Gresham Residents began to report vandalism to their vehicles. The reports began in the Rockwood area on SE Yamhill between SE 182nd and SE 188th. So far 6 reports have been made regarding vehicles parked on the road with smashed out rear windows. One witness in this area describes the suspect vehicle as a white Honda Accord with one headlight light out and 3 occupants inside.
At approximately 3:51 am Police responded to yet another report of vandalism to a vehicle in the area of Red Sunset Park, 2400 NE Red Sunset Drive. Upon arrival Officers observed nearly 20 vehicles parked in the road with their back windows smashed out. One victim reported seeing a small white sedan, possibly a Honda or a Nissan, occupied by 3 teenagers traveling Westbound through the area. The occupants were using a baseball bat to damage vehicles as they drove through the neighborhood. Anyone with any information is encouraged to call the Gresham Police. Additionally anyone with damaged property is encouraged to make a report as soon as possible.

PORTLAND, Ore. – A party in southeast Portland got out of control Saturday night and a woman ended up stabbed in the neck.
The incident happened in the 3000 block of Southeast 145th Avenue.
According to police, neighbors were having a bonfire in their front yard when two people walking down the street came by, words were exchanged and an altercation ensued.
During the altercation, 30-year-old Jeanette Turner, who lives at the home, was stabbed in the neck. She was taken to the hospital with serious, but not life-threatening, injuries.
Police arrested 20-year-old Hector luna Melchar and charged him with one count of assault in the second degree.
Another man, 20-year-old Diego Rodriguez-Perez, was charged with one count of assault in the fourth degree in connection with the assault of 34-year-old David Pettry Holton at the same location.

Gresham has become the Oakland ,California of Oregon and the Gang members have taken over, (by that I mean Mexican Trash). Yet Gresham is in liberal Multnomah County which is completely pro-illegal( see Tom Potter Day Labor site – If landlords in Gresham didnt accept Mexican Illegals there wouldnt be gangs, so mail the following to the Mayor of Gresham).
This is what open borders and pro-la Raza and the police never checking for the ID of Mexicans in the state of Oregon has got us: a Mass invasion of not only mexican breeders but of gang members. They have taken over entire areas of Oregon and yet the Upper classes continue to hire them to garden ?

Police today said 38 officers responded Saturday to a birthday party that turned into a riot, in what Gresham police are saying is the city’s largest melee in almost 20 years.
Police were called about 10:30 p.m. to a fight involving at least 20 men. Officers tried to intervene but were assaulted, and when more officers arrived, the scene worsened.
“It seemed to perpetuate every time our officers arrived,” said Lt. Jeff Hansen, a police spokesman.
The fighting lasted eight minutes until police gained order. Gresham, Portland, Troutdale, Fairview and Multnomah County sheriff’s deputies assisted. Six people were arrested.
“Absolutely amazing,” said Hansen, who added that the city’s last large riot was in the early 1990s.
No serious injuries were reported, though one officer reported being punched in the face and others said they were hit with belt buckles swung by party-goers.
The riot stemmed from a Quinceanera, a celebration for a Latina turning 15. Police said more than 100 people attended the party, and many appeared intoxicated.
The event was held at GSI Community Center, 1493 N.E. Cleveland Ave., where police have been called 20 times in the past 18 months. Officers said they have been assaulted there six times.
At the latest incident, two security guards hired to oversee the party told officers they couldn’t control the crowd.
Police arrested the following on riot-related charges: Baudillo She-Caamal, 26; Luis Aguilar Mis, 38; Erlindo Che-Caamal, 36; Juan Diego Sulub-Trujeque, 38; Armando Che-Caamal, 34; and Francisco Caamal-Perea, 25.
The city hopes to work with the community center to address alcohol concerns.

As to the claim made by ‘robson2501′, all I can say is “Liar”. Your futile attempts at being PC because those involved in the riot were all ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS.
This type of behavior isn’t surprising and I’ll guarantee you that the C.C. in question is allowing alchohol ONLY because of the tired PC crowd and their cries of “racisism” if they crack down on the alcohol. Typical of the mentality of The People’s Republik of Portland, in the Motherland of Oregon.
Gresham has turned into one large slum thanks to the allowance of these ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS to congregate there. If the Feds want to crack down, as in other cities and states of recent times, they should start there. But of course, if they did crack down and deport them all, the population of Gresham would drop by AT LEAST 70%.
But you all get what you vote for, so you have no one to blame but yourselves.

The police believe it is an alcohol problem? Hells bells, when are government officials going to wake up and realize it is an illegal immigrant problem. What is sad is that there is so much money in that crowd. I have witnessed these types of Mexican birthday parties on more than one occasion, and there is a ton of money involved (usualy cash). What American can afford to spend thousands and thousands of dollars on a birthday party for a 15 year old girl? Not too many unless they are rich by hard work, or they are rich by criminal activity. It is not an an alcohol problem. Americans will finally wake up to the problem of illegal immigration after it is too late, and major cities looks like Mexico City and Tijuana
