Clearly all of them belong in Mexico where they can drive drunk breed and run each other over at their leisure.Turns out the Mexican Juan knew he killed Ericka but he was illegal or undocumented so he ran to save his ass and those are Mexican Values in a nutshell.Erika’s mother, who speaks only spanish, spoke to KOIN Local 6 through an interpreter.  Martha Meza said of her daughter, “She was really special. She was really special to her and to other people. If it was an accident, why didn’t he stop to help the little girl? She wants him to pay for what he did.” (Lopez-Perez is being held on $80,000 dollars bail, and is also under an ICE Hold.  That mean the INS is concerned about his legal residency status.  Meanwhile, at Meza’s apartment complex, more than a dozen candles now sit where the young girl was killed.
Breeders like Martha never get reported to ICEMartha the Illegal Mexican Breeder wants Juan the Illegal Mexican to Pay for what he did. No,he  shouldn’t. He should be deported and so should Martha  and both should be sterilized first. Typical Mexican Puta, she thinks the parking lot is a playground . Salem Police Dept. – 11/25/09

SALEM POLICE DEPARTMENT2 year old struck and killed while walking in parking lot.On November 24th at 5:52 PM, the Salem Police Department and Salem Fire Department were dispatched to 3876 Sunnyview Rd NE regarding a child that was struck by a vehicle in the parking lot of the Stoneridge Apartments. The child, 2 year old Erika Rubi Meza was struck by a pickup truck that left the scene after the incident. Due to her injuries, Erika Meza died at the scene.

A subsequent investigation showed Erika and her sister were walking through the parking lot of the apartment complex when a white Ford four door pickup truck struck Erika. The truck continued through the parking lot and left the scene on Sunnyview Rd NE.

 

 

The Salem Police Traffic Unit was called in to conduct the crash investigation and remained on scene until 11:00 pm. Later in the evening at 11:40 pm, the Salem Police Department received information advising the truck involved in the accident was located in the 2100 block of Maple Avenue NE in Salem. Officers responded to the scene and ultimately arrested Juan Lopez-Perez for Felony Hit and Run. Lopez-Perez is 31 years old and a illegal alien from MexicoSalem resident. Lopez-Perez was lodged in the Marion County Jail and is set for arraignment at 1 p.m. today. This incident is still under investigation. On 11-16-09, at 11:44 pm, Deputy Stacy Lucca arrested 31 year old Abel Barrientos-Flores at his apartment in the 4200 block of Devonshire Court NE for Burglary I, Stalking and Criminal Mischief II.

On 11-14-09, the Marion County Sheriff’s Office received information from the victim, 26 year old Lorena Perez of Salem, indicting she thought her neighbor (Flores) had been in her apartment. She reported that earlier that night she had come home and noticed someone had been in her home. Although nothing was missing she said someone had gone through one of the dresser drawers in her bedroom. She said the drawer was broken and it looked as if someone had gone through and messed up her underwear in the drawer. Lorena said she was sure it was her neighbor Abel Barrientos-Flores because she had found him in her apartment in February 2008 and suspected he had done the same thing. She said she has had other issues with him in the past such as vandalizing her car and stealing money from her.

Deputy Lucca made contact with Barrientos-Flores who admitted he had entered Lorena Perez’s apartment on 11-14-09, through a bedroom window. He said he went into the apartment so he could look at Lorena’s underwear because he thought she was pretty. Barrientos-Flores was arrested on the above listed charges and transported to the Marion County Jail. Barrientos-Flores is scheduled to appear in court for arraignment on this date at 3:00 pm.\

Case #09-27731At approx. 7:00 am, this date, Salem Police Street Crimes Detectives executed a search warrant at 3369 River Rd. North in Keizer. The search warrant was the result of drug investigation where (S) Cervantes had sold cocaine.Once Detectives made entry into the residence, (S) Cervantes was found to be gone, leaving her two children, ages 8 and 12 alone. A search of the residence revealed a small amount of cocaine found in the children’s bedroom. Also in the children’s bedroom where they were contacted, were several lit candles on a shelf close to the ceiling, which had been burning throughout the night. The candles were close enough to the ceiling that the heat was leaving black burn marks approx. 3 feet in diameter on the ceiling. Also found during the search were scales and packaging material.While Detectives were at the residence, they learned that (S) Cervantes was at work, having left about two hours prior. However, when Detectives checked for her, they learned she had gotten a phone call telling her that the police were at her residence and she then fled. Contact was made by phone with (S) Cervantes, but she refused to come home, despite leaving the children alone. Detectives located a possible address where (S) Cervantes may be at and when Officer’s from Keizer Police attempted contact, (S) Cervantes attempted to escape out the back. (S) Cervantes was taken into custody without further incident.

The children were taken into Protective Custody.

Case #08-57752(why did they put the mug shots in a word file? )Detectives of the Meth Strike Force, Salem PD Street Crimes and DART units, Keizer PD CRU, Polk Co. Inter-Agency Narcotics Team, DOJ, DEA and ICE concluded a four month long drug investigation involving the distribution of crystal methamphetamine.

During the afternoon hours of Thursday, May 14; Detectives served three search warrants, (two in Salem and one in Jefferson). Search warrants were served at 560 25th St. SE, 516 45th ST NE and 185 N. 6th, Jefferson.

During the course of the investigation, 3.7 lbs of crystal methamphine was seized with a street value of $148,000.; scales and packaging materials, two handguns and $6,000 cash.

Five suspects were arrested and booked into the Marion Co. Jail.

Arrested were the following suspects and charges:
1) Rafael MARTINEZ-AYALA, H/M, 48 yrs, dob: 06/01/60, 560 25th St. SE, Salem.
Charges:
* Distribution of Methamphetamine – 10 cts. Bail:$5,000,000.
* Poss of Cont.Subst/Methamphetamine more than 1oz Bail:$5,000,000.
* Dist. of Meth w/in 1000 ft of a school-10 cts. Bail: $5,000,000.

2) Maria PENA-MARTINEZ, H/F, 41 yrs, dob: 08/05/67, 560 25th St. SE, Salem. (wife of (S) Rafael Martinez-Ayala)
Charges:
* Maintaining a residence where drugs are used. Cite & Release(C&R)
* Criminal Mistreatment I – 2 cts. C&R
* Endangering the Welfare of a minor – 2 cts. C&R
Being held on an ICE hold.

3) Ernesto CARRANZA-DUARTE, H/M, 34 yrs, dob: 04/28/75, 582 S. Linden St., Cornelius.
* Dist. of Methamphetamine – 2 cts. Bail: $1,000,000.

During subsequent investigation and interviews in this case, it was determined that one of the suspects that was arrested gave a false name to officers.

Monica Guarjardo, 29-years old, was a passenger in the rear of the stolen vehicle and gave the name of Christina Arismendez when she was arrested. Guarjardo’s true identity was not discovered until later in the day.

As a result, Monica Guarjardo is being charged with Giving False Information To A Police Officer and was also arrested on warrants for Possession of a Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine and Giving False Information. Christina Arismendez WAS NOT arrested in this case.

Four suspects were arrested after a pursuit of a stolen vehicle that ended with the vehicle crashing into a business and two suspects fleeing on foot.

The incident began at approximately 10:10 am on April 28th when Salem Police Officer Mitch Mason spotted a vehicle that had been reported stolen to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office. Officer Mason noticed the vehicle stopped at a traffic light on Kuebler Blvd and Battle Creek Rd SE and ran an inquiry on the license plate. By the time Officer Mason received the information that the vehicle was stolen, it had proceeded from that intersection and onto Interstate 5. Officer Mason could not tell which direction the vehicle had gone on the freeway, so he notified other Salem Police units to watch for the vehicle.

Approximately four minutes later Salem Police Officer Marc Leeder spotted the vehicle going northbound on Lancaster Dr NE approaching Sunnyview Rd NE. When Officer Leeder attempted to turn around to get behind the vehicle, it fled northbound and turned westbound onto Sunnyview Rd NE. Officer Judy Rhine was eastbound on Sunnyview Rd at the time approaching Lancaster Dr and turned around to continue the pursuit of the stolen vehicle. The stolen vehicle proceeded westbound on Sunnyview Rd, turning north onto Hawthorne Ave NE, then eastbound onto Silverton Rd NE. As the vehicle approached Lancaster Dr on Silverton Rd, it went into the opposing lane of traffic then turned north on Lancaster Dr.

The stolen vehicle continued northbound on Lancaster Dr at moderate speeds then turned westbound onto Ward Dr NE. Officer Rhine performed a Pursuit Intervention Technique (PIT) on the vehicle on Ward Dr, but the vehicle was able to recover and continue westbound until it crashed into a building at Highway Trailer Sales, 3250 Ward Dr NE.

After crashing into the business, the driver, 20-year old Jose A Quezada, fled on foot from the vehicle. Officers and deputies gave chase on foot and the suspect was apprehended. Quezada was handcuffed and was being escorted back to the patrol vehicles when he was able to break away and run a short distance before he was apprehended again.

The front passenger in the vehicle also fled on foot after the vehicle crashed, resulting in officers cordoning off the area and conducting a canine search for the suspect. The Oregon State Police and Marion County Sheriff’s Office assisted throughout this process. After nearly two hours, this second suspect, identified as 29-year old Thomas W Cade, was spotted by Cpl Mark Croll. Cpl Croll gave the suspect commands, but the suspect refused to comply and again fled on foot. He was caught by officers a short distance away and taken into custody.

Found on the front passenger seat of the stolen vehicle was a .45 caliber semi-automatic handgun that was stolen from Newberg. There were also two females in the back seat of the vehicle at the time. They were identified as 19-year old Esmeralda Herrera of Salem and 23-year old Christina Arismendez of Salem. Both of these females remained at the scene after the vehicle crashed and were charged with Unauthorized Use of Motor Vehicle. Hererra was also cited for having an Open Container of Alcoholic in a Vehicle.

Jose Quezada was transported to the Marion County Jail and charged with Unauthorized Use Of A Motor Vehicle, Attempting to Elude, Escape, Theft by Receiving, Reckless Driving, Driving While Suspended and a warrant for Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle.

Cade was charged with Unauthorized Use Of A Motor Vehicle, Interfering With A Police Officer and Parole Violation.

Sheriff’s Office responds to the report of an attempted abduction

On 4-19-09, at 3:10 pm the Marion County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 4800 block of Cougar Court regarding the report of an attempted abduction of a 12 year old child. Contact was made with the grandmother who reported her granddaughter was playing outside when a Hispanic male pulled up in front of the house. He then and rolled down the passenger side window and said “would you like a ride” and patted the passenger side front seat. The child told him no and went inside the house to tell her grandmother. However, when they came back outside the suspect and vehicle were gone.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, in his 40’s, unknown height/weight, with a round wrinkly face, dark skin, dark hair and a unshaven “scruffy” face. He was wearing a dark colored short sleeve
t-shirt and faded blue jeans. The victim indicated he spoke clear English. The make and model of the vehicle he was driving is unknown, however it is possibly a faded black 4 door with a brownish roof top.
