Deputies arrest Salem Woman Mexian meth breeder with sharpie eyebrow for child Neglect
Marion Co. Sheriff’s Office – 04/28/09
On 4-27-09, at 11:00 am the Marion County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 3900 block of Fisher Road NE regarding a two year old child anchor baby who was found wandering around the neighborhood alone and crying. Deputy Shawn Bush responded and was able to locate the child’s mother, 26 year old Maria Rodriguez, who lives near where the child was found. She told deputies she knew her son had climbed out of a window about an hour and a half earlier but she wasn’t concerned because he has done it before. She said he goes to a relative’s house just a few houses away. Rodriguez was arrested and transported to the Marion County Jail for two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Minor, Child Neglect II and Possession of a Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine. The Department of Human Services, Child Welfare was contacted and Rodriquez’ two year old son and two other children ages three and eight were taken into protective custody
